"SUPERB! SMOKIN!"

"Currently the hottest Okanagan CD , this self-titled work [X-II-IX] only hit the public market March 1 and has been garnering lots of airplay since day one. The 10-song CD may turn out to be one of the best Okanagan products ever; a wonderful collection of well crafted, original, power rock songs."

"Band mates Randall Robinson and Pat Brown cut quick to the bone in their songwriting style, molding their messages with a statement and an edge. They are skilled craftsmen in the use of the double entendre."

"Led by the brilliant vocals of Brown, equally brilliant guitars, and one of my very favorite drummers, the multi-talented Scott Gamble, Ten2Nine have their own sound and a rapidly growing number of fans."

"There are several tremendous tunes on this album including last year's Scorpion Award's Song of the Year, Smoke In The Light (number one on the CD). Their release of that song last year was quickly snagged by local radio and created a huge awareness."

"The new CD proves last year's award was clearly not a fluke. Songs two, three, and four Don't Want That Anymore, Blue Again and Dear John are fantastic. All three could have easily been nominated for Song of the Year this year. Song number nine You're No Fun grabs my attention more and more each time I play the album. Brown's amazing vocal range and versatility shine throughout this clean sounding CD, and the team of engineers and producers who helped should be very proud of their accomplishment."

"CD RELEASE OF THE YEAR!"

"It will no doubt be remembered as the CD release party of the year. For those who like to rock, it was a night not to have missed. "

"Surprisingly enough the roof is still intact on the Kelowna Community Theatre after Ten2Nine practically blew it off last weekend [Mar. 24/05] at ther CD release party. Wow what a night."

"Ten2Nine opened the show with a very cool short video (produced by drummer Scott Gamble) then proceeded to rip through 10 songs, ranging from their radio hits Smoke In The Light and don't Want That Anymore, to new favourites off their debut full-length CD like Indie, which featured belly dancers, and Are WeThere Yet? where they had everyone singing along."

"The lighting and sound were second to none and the tenacity of this band was fully rewarded by a crowd that shook the building with enthusiasm."

"For the near sell-out crowd, it was a night to remember. Keeping in mind that every big name band started off somewhere as a local independent band trying to get their name out there, it's easy to imagine the day when we'll get to see Ten2Nine open for Nickelback (or Nickelback open for Ten2Nine?) and we'll be able to say, I saw them back when..."

"NEW KING OF ROCK VOCALS!"

"There's a new king of the rock and roll vocal crown in the Okanagan and his name is Pat Brown. I'm not really sure who owned the crown before but it matters not cause it's now Pats."

"Brown clearly grabbed the throne Thursday night [March 24/05] at the Kelowna Commuity Theater during his band's (Ten2Nine) CD Release party. What a fabulous performance by Brown and his band."

"To a nearly packed house Ten2Nine showed why they are considered to be an extremely tight and talented power band with an edge and a sound of their own. They simply owned the audience from the first note. Whew, but that Pat Brown can sing!"

In January of 2004 the station moved the song into Gold Rotation and remains on the playlist garnering several spins a week. Bio

Led by the brilliant vocals of Pat Brown and distinctive songwriting from Brown and guitarist Randall Robinson, Ten2Nine's sound is completed by the power and edge from lead guitarist Jim LeGuilloux, keyboardist Vtyas Synkevicius, bassist Neville Bowman and drummer Scott Gamble.

In summer 2005 Ten2Nine swept the Okanagan Scorpion Music Awards winning in eight categories including: Album of the Year (X-II-IX), Song of The Year (Don't Want That Anymore), Male Performer of the Year (Pat Brown), Musician of the Year (Scott Gamble) and Group of the Year! A review in the February 2006 issue of BURRN!, Japan's biggest hard-rock magazine, rated X-II-IX among the top 7 imports and has introduced Ten2Nine to millions of new fans overseas.

From day one X-II-IX has created a buzz amongst fans, critics and industry professionals alike. The fan favorite Are We There Yet? becomes the third song from X-II-IX to receive airplay - along with Don't Want That Anymore and the 2004 Scorpion Song of the Year Smoke In The Light - with all of these songs continuing to gain new adds on commercial, college, satellite and Internet radio.

Two of the tracks on this 10-song CD - Don't Want That Anymore and Blue Again - were produced by P.C.M.I.A. Producer of the Year recipient Dale Penner whose credits include Nickelback, Mathew Good, Econoline Crush and Holly McNarland, amongst others. The remainder of the songs on X-II-IX were produced by long-time collaborator Jim LeGuilloux, who took home Producer of the Year honors at the Scorpion's for his contributions to the album.
