Biography

NEWS: Rick Will to Produce TBY's 2008 debut album

It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we announce that our debut album planned for creation in 2008 will be produced by mixing genius Rick Will. Now residing in Sydney, Rick has traveled the globe and shaped the sounds of cult status bands like Incubus, Ben Harper, Dave Mathews, No Doubt, FearFactory, ScaryMother, Skindred and many more.

Sitting at Kings Cross Fountain Café during our first meeting with Rick, I was deeply humbled by his volition for wanting to work with us. He has made career launching albums for Incubus (Fungus Amongus and Morning View) and most recently mixed what Rick said is his best work; UK outfit Skindred’s latest exploding record RootsRockRiot (Rick also mixed their debut album Babylon), and instead of becoming completely out of reach to the layband he sits over a double hot chocolate telling me his true love is working with new artists, and that he loves Aussie bands and wants to see them achieve great things.

Pre-Production for the album is set for to start early Jan and will continue until the recording sessions around mid year or before. We are obviously now in writing mode and are inspired to the eyeballs, we hope to make a record that will raise body hair, and be as exciting as the records previously mentioned (we are big fans of most of the bands Rick has worked with). We do intend on getting out and road testing tracks on occasion, the first being on FEB 28 at Sydney’s famous Hopetoun Hotel.

Thanks and all the best for the new year 2008.
