Ten Feet Deep

We are Ten Feet Deep, a band comprised of four charming New Yorkers. We began playing together nearly eight years ago, when Alexander (the lead singer and youngest member) was at the tender age of fourteen. Since then, TFD has played dozens of shows in and around new york city, including opening for Justin Timberlake and Avril Lavigne at Hammerstein Ballroom, and performing with Béla Fleck at Gibson studios.
The band went on a brief hiatus while we each attended and graduated separate colleges. Now, due to the fact that cubicles/entry level jobs are boring, and music is fun and intriguing, we’ve made the unanimous decision to return to doing what we love most.
We often struggle trying to define our sound, perhaps some sort of progressive-rock-pop inspired by a wide range of musical influences. And, while we could ramble all day about categorizing, more importantly, we hope you enjoy our music and would love to play your venue!
We play all-original music, which has been arranged for either full-band or acoustic performace, allowing ten feet deep to perform a wider range of venues, adjusting our sound (and volume) accordingly.
