Tapping into their varied musical influences and experiences, TenFeetTall has only just begun the long journey into their self-termed ‘alternacoustic’ sound. The sound they’ve created is incredibly unique, interesting, and somehow familiar in the same breath. From intimate moments where you’d swear they were sitting in your living room playing to you alone, to moments of brash, venue filling, emotionally driven rock and roll, this band is creating loyal fans at each live performance and gaining the attention of critics and fans alike with every listen to their ‘Falling Down EP’ and individual releases from their still being created full length album.

Formed out of two Denver bands with mutual admiration, the three members of TenFeetTall seemed on first thought to be a natural collaboration with limitless potential. After pausing for a second thought on the issue, all three jumped in head first and ten feet deep. With more than a few songs already structured and ready to be arranged to fit the strengths of all three, the creative process took firm hold. And after only a few hasty rehearsals, TenFeetTall took a full set of music out to the public with the intention of proving themselves right in their decision to join forces. This success carried over into the self-recorded, self-produced demo titled ‘The Floor EP’. This recording has met with great success and has propelled the group into the best nights and time slots at local Denver venues, as well as giving them the opportunity to play several larger festivals on the national level. Both 99.5FM ‘The Mountain’ and 93.3 ‘Modern Rock’ KTCL in Denver have played tracks from The Floor EP and a full-length recording is presently in the works. At current projections, the full-length album will be available to the world in early 2008.

Danny Huber combines soul searching lyrics with heart wrenching (or heart warming depending on the song) delivery on both vocals and guitar, and with Paul Elliott’s dramatic and proficient piano parts and harmony vocals, and Matt Dougherty’s outstanding ability to tastefully and musically create drum arrangements and sing his heart out on harmony vocals, TenFeetTall has the capability to mesmerize, excite, and provoke thought through their music, and somehow, keep toes tapping… just ask audiences in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and throughout the West and Midwest. TenFeetTall is the band you’ve been waiting for… you just haven’t known until now.

They now own homes.
