All the tough men out there who are pining to embrace their sensitive side with some Verve-esque pop-rock need look no further than Ten Fé whose latest single "Make Me Better" is a tear-stained swan song of psychedelic guitars and melancholic strings. Produced by Ewan Pearson, who has remixed the likes of Goldfrapp, The Rapture, and The Chemical Brothers, the track is a modern day reboot for anyone who is wanting Coldplay to return to their roots walking down the beach singing about the colour "Yellow". The duo is working on their first album with support of Telekom Music Talent Space. Listen below. - Noisey
Previously known as “Fé,” the band says the name change reflects a new growing sense of confidence about where they’re going. “Make Me Better” is certainly one of those tracks that you’d expect from a confident British outfit: bold, a little bit brash, with driving percussion and swooping, melodic strings. In fact, even their look has a sense of swagger: open, loose floral Hawaiian shirts have been traded for dressed-down denim and Hedi Slimane-esque leather jackets.
First meeting at a house party in London’s Haringey, Ben and Leo are now happy to call Berlin their spiritual second home. Already with gigs at Berghain and Fluxbau under their belt, TEN FÉ will be touring as part of the Telekom Electronic Beats Festival through September, as well as two tour dates in their native UK.
