Long Island, NY’s TENPOINT may be a new band by definition, but a run through each members musical lineage tells a story of true rock monarchs. International recording artists, worldwide publishing agreements, cross continental touring, merchandising deals, topping radio charts and thousands of albums sold encompass only a small portion of the dozens of highlights already achieved in their musical careers. Formed in the fall of 2008, TENPOINT is comprised of vocalist Mike DiMeo (Riot, Masterplan), guitarist Steve Seigerman (Welt, Ironlung), Bassist Chris Kozikowski (Destroyed By Anger), and drummer Doug Bohn (Suffocation, Welt, Ironlung).

For over a decade these musicians have been entertaining the masses worldwide and garnering a devoted personal following
respectively. Pre-TENPOINT their musical story was told individually through the tone of Prog, Metal, and Hardcore music…today it is told through Northern Rock! “Northern Rock is our brand of music” claims guitarist Steve, “it incorporates the best elements of southern rock, the sultriness of rhythm and blues, and the driving force of hard rock that is made possible through the different musical influences we bring to TENPOINT collectively”. Upon first listen of the “Northern Rock” CD, the listener is immediately enveloped in the smooth and powerful, vocals of Mike Dimeo. Vulture Entertainment President Jason Fligman states, “the first time I heard Mike sing I was overcome by the power of his voice…. a beautiful but mysterious synchronized mix of rasp and soul… move over Chris Cornell there is a new heir to the throne!”. The underlying music resonates of an uncompromising blend of serenity and aggression.

Musical accolades aside, this band were forged by true friendship. Steve, Doug and Chris have been a part of each other’s lives since the day they met in elementary school. Driven by their love of music and their determination to succeed, they’ve joined forces with admired vocalist Mike to deliver their debut CD “Northern Rock”. A non-exclusive distribution deal was formed with the independent label Last Resort Records for the Northern Rock EP. The search for a dedicated label is underway.

It is a rarity to see a band with so much style and conviction, so much truth and power…TENPOINT is a band with staying power, a band of seasoned musicians poised to catapult their brand of Northern Rock to the masses and captivate them with their genre bending style…this is just the beginning!
