Tentacles Heavenward

Tentacles Heavenward

 Ballston Spa, New York, USA

Introspective musicianship defines Tentacles Heavenward (aka Brittny & Zac Kissinger) who stay true to their artistic driven roots by delivering melodic, acoustic driven tunes with metaphoric lyrics, pure poetry of the soul.

Pooling the vocal talents of his internationally known sibling, Brittny, with his own passion for intriguing songwriting, Zac Kissinger’s acoustic duo, TENTACLES HEAVENWARD, exemplifies an eclectic mesh of acoustically driven, progressive melodies and intense lyrics.
Zac, a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in production & engineering has been driven by music most all his life composing, recording, and playing in a rock band while in high school. His songwriting is marked by intermittent time changes & soul searching, metaphoric lyrics.
Brittny has been performing professionally since 1996 when her talent was recognized by Broadway director Martin Charnin. NY’s Capital District was awed by Britt’s sudden rise to fame when she was cast in the leading role of Annie performing with stars Nell Carter, John Schuck and then Sally Struthers both on the Broadway stage and in the subsequent national tour, a “job” that lasted until the show closed in March of 1999. During that time she performed on national television shows such as The Tony Awards, The Today Show, Rosie O’Donnell, and CBS This Morning.
Even now Brittny continues to be a source of interest. Since her return home 8 years ago, she has been visited by a Japanese film crew as well as People Magazine. She performed before over 20,000 people at 107.7 WGNA’s Countryfest 2003, the largest country music event in the Northeast. Ongoing performances here in the Capital District as well as the release of their debut CD, Brilliant Minds Collapse, have generated additional interest in the talented sibs. Tentacles Heavenward garnered the attention of Fox News Channel culminating in an interview in their home recording studio.
