Teresa Dawn Biography
Raised by a preacher, singing and playing drums with her family band in churches since she could talk; it's no surprise Teresa Dawn's roots are firmly planted in Christian music.
Teresa was called to music ministry at an early age of eight years old. Although choices in her life may have led her down some different paths along the way, she has returned to her Christian roots and has vowed to God never to leave Him again. Her passion for Christ and for His will is evident in her powerful lyrics and soulful performance. With a unique style and deeply spiritual, heart felt lyrics that tell the journey of her life and of God's word, she is bound to captivate you.
"Because of His faithfullness, he has restored my soul and has blessed me with worship songs that echo my faith and beliefs. Time after time I have returned to Him and He has lifted me up from the depths to soar so high. My hope is to reach deep into the hearts of listeners to a place that somehow touches and moves them closer on their own journey with God. If I can touch just one soul with the redeeming truth of Jesus Christ and tell them of His great love, then my life will have been worth living."
Teresa is currently working on her first full length cd, entitled "For His Glory". Her hope is to complete the cd project in Winter 2007 .Because so many of her songs tell of her own personal struggles, strengths and weaknesses; she is taking you along on a very intimate journey. "God has blessed me with songs that have so much meaning to me. I can't wait to share them! I know that He is opening doors for continued opportunities to expand this music ministry."
