Teresa Lynn Johnson

I started rhyming things in my head before I knew how to write. When I did learn how to write, My 3rd grade teacher bought me a notebook to keep all of my poems in. I never stopped writing, and by High School, I was writing songs, and singing them to my Family and Friends... Someone would tell me something, and it became a song... I would see the beauty around me, growing up in the Mountains of Montana, and everything was a song.... As an adult, I branched out into songs about relationships, Children, and all that pain that comes with life... I started entering my songs into contests, and had some very positive feedback, so in August of 2012, I started a blog with all of the songs that I have finished... I have over 300 original songs on it, and, if I didn't have to work, I could write all day . Reality ~~ My influences , growing up, were Loretta Lynn, Jim Croce, Johnny Cash, Teresa Brewer, Patsy Cline, The Eagles, Three Dog Night, George Jones, Charlie Pride, Johnny Horton, And always Elvis... Later I couldn't get enough of Randy Travis, Vince Gill, Aaron Tippin, Garth Brooks, Pat Green, Michael Martin Murphy, Alan Jackson, Cher, well.. The list goes on and on... What sets me apart? Probably that I waited so long to do this!
