Bio
Born in Small Town, North Dakota I spent my youth with freedom and Joy. As a teenager I spent my time "pining" over that Football jock who didn't know I existed. The usual teen angst went along with growing up, but all clean and legal!
My parents were country music lovers, When I was growing up, long car trips included classic country on the AM radio (day's long before the walkman or Ipod!)... Though I complained the whole trip, but would often sneak some of my parents 8 tracks in my room to study to.
My biggest influences include Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Jan Howard and Hank Williams. But as I grew musically through the years, I included Pam Tillis, Tanya Tucker, Doug Stone and Hank Williams Jr to my growing list of influences. Outside of Country music, I gained inspiration from Bette Midlar, Otis Redding and Bonnie Rait.
I consider my musical tastes to be very eclectic, and my influences are just as broad. Talent is inspiring, and I never limit myself to one genre, but I always find my self coming home to my classic country roots!
