"Nightlife"

"I'm always impressed with the heart and soul Teri and the band put into their performances, both on record and on stage. TDB shows are always chock full of the kind of emotion and sincerity that's infectious and inspiring. I wish all artists worked it as hard and cared as much."

"Get Backstaged Up"

Owned by famed Police agent, Ian Copeland, the Backstage Cafe has hosted every celebrity imaginable from Snoop Dog to De Niro and prides itself on being the place for random rockers to hold impromtu jams. On October 23, the Teri Danz Band will perform at the Backstage. Don't miss them- this is a group that Copeland himself calls "a club owner's dream band" with infectious tunes and an engaging performance".

Out of LA is a female artist, but not just any female artist. Teri Danz has been out there doing the performance thing for a long time and continues to rock her songs. In my CD player (computer) is her 2002 release, Gardens in the Concrete, 12-tracks of her heart felt music. Taking acoustic music and expanding the styles and genre range from straight folk to rock, but all with a flavor of her own. Her voice rides on top of the music. Her unique sound will stand out in such a good way. Frankly, it’s nice to hear this voice.

With her share of recognition as an independent artist, Teri continues to plug away at getting her name out there. She has received some supporting and positive words from even Ian Copeland, who also owns the Backstage Cafe in Beverly Hills, about her live performances. There is no question that this album performance is delivered well on stage. The tight sound, solid mix, and continued drive and energy makes this album a treat to listen to.

Check out her site and you’ll get to know her and her music.

Bio

Los Angeles-based acoustic/electric rock band, TERI DANZ BAND has been making a name for themselves both in LA and on a national level. The music is a raw and edgy combination of acoustic and electric rock, mixed with a touch of singer songwriter. The lyrics reflect Teri's "confessional girl" approach and philosophy of reclaiming yourself when you're lost with others or by yourself. The band received national press in Women Who Rock Magazine with a full page interview and photo from the band's in-store performance and CD signing at TOWER RECORDS. Teri Danz has been nominated for Best Female Vocalist, All Access Magazine's 2005 Music Awards. Teri and TDB guitarist Tim Weber are currently recording with Buddy Halligan (Barry White, Ray Charles, Anita Baker) at Bell Sound Studios.

TERI DANZ BAND appears as an up and coming artist on Sennheiser's microsite in the True Sound Lounge featuring ballad "The Road". Sennheiser and Crate (St. Louis Music) are band sponsors as is Guitar Center for all in-store and festival events.
