Bio
An avid live show enthusiast turned up-and-coming songwriter, Terie Lei Moore burst onto the Texas scene with an unquestionable ferocity and lyrics to match. Hailing from the small town of Winona, Texas, she was raised in a tight-knit family of many self-taught musicians with gospel roots. In high school, she discovered the Texas/Red Dirt country scene but didn't get a real taste of the scene until she moved to Stephenville in 2015. She began spending almost every night at shows while juggling her studies, but her passion for music quickly won out.
It wasn't until February of 2016, though, that Moore felt a desire to begin songwriting. She saw her idol, William Clark Green, live for the first time, and their conversation placed an unquenchable fire inside of her to compose songs of her own. She began writing that day, and in May, she picked up a guitar with a steely resolve to add her seat to the table of revered songwriters such as Green, Jamie Lin Wilson, and Evan Felker. A year later, Moore found herself playing with local musicians when singer-songwriter Kensie Coppin walked in and offered her an opportunity to open for her which helped her gain a surge of fans overnight that hasn't stopped growing since.
Moore is currently playing live shows in many regions of Texas and Oklahoma while penning many new songs in preparation for recording her first radio single and full length album.
