Feeling a bit camera shy

Terminated Television formed as an attack against boredom. The original incarnation was the duo of Steven and Aaron who (like Bob Dylan) decided to plug in and play electric after years of busking streets and festivals together. It wasn't long before they had recorded a demo of their first album (about a man who's been suspected of mental illness having a vision of the apocalypse within the static of a television and deciding to kill his pregnant wife to spare her from the horrors he'd witnessed, only to discover the apocalypse non-existant and forced to face who he truly is as he subsequently struggles with the aftermath of his decisions and the dreaded consequences of his actions and the fate he knows he must accept) and added in longtime friend Mike to expand their sound.
It's a sound that now most often draws comparison to Dinosaur Jr and The Black Lips. However, it seperates itself from those two bands by presenting themselves as literate pop that's just a little bit heavier than your average run-of-the-mill pop band. So, Mike joined and ceaseless gigging ensued that eventually would lead to (local WI music legend) Bob Burns approaching them as a fan and offering to record their first album. A long line of incidents similair to that was soon to follow as positive feedback poured in from their peers, got an offer to base the leaked set of lyrics to that first LP on a screenplay (which is currently being written) and they experienced a steady incline of attendance at their shows (they play each as if it's a last ditch effort to show the world who they truly are and that they stand for something) - while becoming rapidly prolific. To date, they have a scheduled release plan of 2 LP's, 2 Compilation LP's, 1 Split EP, and 3 EP's. They can not and will not be stopped from making music.
They also have a sense of humor (and history) as can be seen in their "influences" section on their Facebook page. Which is as follows; "1900's Blues, 30's gothic, 70's haircuts, 90's guitars and 2000's independent subcultures"
That is Terminated Television. A band insistent on wearing influences proudly while dashing in their own brand of unique musical sensibility which is at once refreshingly familiar and shockingly new, reminding you how much you missed it in the first place or making you curse yourself for having not discovered it (or brought to light) sooner. Like the whir of a lovingly used push lawn mower after the last of the snow had melted away in a place similair to their small suburban hometown of Plover, WI.
