Energetic, diligent, and relentless are just a few words to describe the Atlanta MC known to most as JT or more recently Terrell-A-Beast. Born and raised in Aurora Illinois a town right outside of Chicago JT was giving little opportunity to make something of himself. In the year of 2000 on the verge of being expelled from school JT was sent to Atlanta by his mother to stay with his grandmother, in attempt to turn the troubled youth’s life around. It was at that point in January of 2000 that the young JT found his passion in writing rhymes and reciting them over classic instrumentals, such as Erykah Badu’s “Bag Lady” and OutKast’s “Players Ball”. Although JT was aware he had the talent, imitative, and skill to pursue a rap career he felt he didn’t have the support. It wasn’t until to 2005 that JT found a person who believed that he could go a lot further than he had. Within a little over six years JT has accomplished more than the average “wanna be” MC. He has performed in over three dozen live performances threw out Atlanta and has wrote and produced over 100 songs not only for himself but also for other local MC’s. JT has released 2 group mixtapes with a local group known as the All Out Rat Pac “AORP” and one solo mixtape hosted by Street Exc’s own DJ Genius titled “On Tha Cum Up”, which was released on Live Mixtapes and DatPIff in 2010. JT has also directed released music videos over the past year and other promotional virals as well. Now and day’s JT also known as Terrell-A-Beast is in the studio and the streets building a brand name for himself, hoping to catch the eye of someone of great importance.
