What makes Glory to Glory Ministries different?

Our Vision:

What if Jesus had a Gospel Choir? What songs would they sing? Where would they choose to sing? What would be their primary goal and focus? What would it be like? Would they be more about the industry of gospel music or ministry of gospel music?

Our Focus:

Ministry. To minister means to serve. Jesus spent His life serving. It takes me back to Matthew 25:34-40. It “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry…thirsty… as a stranger…naked…sick….or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” As a ministry these things should be our focuses.
Would Jesus care more about singing on Bobby Jones Gospel or in a women and children’s shelter? Would Jesus put more energy into raising money to create an album or to donate to a Sickle Cell Foundation? Would Jesus’ choir be more concerned about the way they look on stage or the way they carry themselves during their normal walk of life. We must remember that a lot of times we are the only Bible people read.
Not that there is anything wrong with Bobby Jones, cutting CDs and tours across America but we should always keep Ministry Before Industry.

Our Presentation:

When you get Glory to Glory Ministries on your program, you don’t just get another choir or some dance troop. With G2G you get it all. We might have the G2G Players do a two or three-minute skit to set up a song that the Gospel Choir sings. Our theatrical interpretation might help one better visualize or personalize the meaning of the song. During the singing Dancin’ in the Son will minister through dance. Or maybe one of the spoken word artists will first give their interpretation of the song. The main point is that we encompass ALL of the performing arts in our ministerial experience.
