Terry Williams, known to the world as Terry2Dope is the last of a dying breed. The 22 year old MC represents the harsh realities versus the glamorized lifestyle that has depicted his hometown , Miami, FL for years. In his early years the separation of his parents cause him to be split between the two worlds of Miami. With his father living in a suburban neighborhood and his mom remaining in one of Miami's most notorious hood in Miami, Liberty City. By the age of 13 he decided to share his world through music, just watching the artist who came before him. By 15, he was recording and the first year he dropped 3 mixtapes, which gained him a local buzz. What was so special about 2Dope was his flexibility as to who he connect with through his music. This most likely being because his split households.
Coming up Terry's musical inspirations were 2pac, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and most of all hometown hero, Trick Daddy. 2Dope's style of music is realistic, poetic, story telling and soulful but can also be very braggadocios and fun. As his career unfolds Terry2Dope hopes to one day become a music legend. His main goal is to make Miami a hip hop corner stone such as New York and Los Angeles.
