guess you could call me a veteran performer,started out with a duo called fielding and dyer;back in the 70's working around sydney nsw. we managed to win a grand final of australia's new faces (the australian idol of it's day) with an original composition.we also won the australian bandstand songwriters award (country section)with our song (big white horse)this led to a contract with essex music and ;spin; records, we recorded our biggest hit THE WHALE which has since become an australian folk classic recorded by groups all over the world. terry has gone on to enjoy a successful solo career performing at pubs clubs festivals and private functions for the past 30 years. no outstanding influences, terry's style is somewhere between celtic and country, perhaps it's "celtry"
