Bio
Donnell, a.k.a. Kahmileon, went to George Washington Carver Elementary School and Science High School in Newark. Then he went to William Paterson University.
As a young child, he loved to sing and act. He was never the loud and boisterous type. Actually, he was a little reserved. This probably gave him the passion for acting. This is where he could let loose while pretending to be someone else. During his grade school days, he was in the band, choir, and several school productions. He became known throughout the surrounding area and got his taste of the “limelight”.
Donnell was accepted into Arts High School in Newark, which has been known to turn out stars such as Kat DeLuna and Savion Glover. Unfortunately, he decided to get a better academic education from Newark’s elite school, Science High. During his time in high school, he was in the band and performed in numerous talent shows. His biggest achievement was with a traveling performance group. They performed AIDS awareness plays for various audiences.
Donnell is a very observant person. There have been many things that he has seen and heard throughout his life. People say that he is a good listener. He often finds that people find it easy to talk to him about their problems. Combine that with his own experiences and great imagination, and you have a really good songwriter with a yearning to tell so many stories. He loves to tell a good story through his writing. His songs are created to make you think and connect. They tell a story that many people can relate to.
Right now, he is working with one of the best producers in the game, Mark a.k.a. Mozark of Incredible Hawk Productions. Mozark has a fresh and unique style. He makes some of the hottest beats that you have ever heard. When these two get together, it is unbelievable! The music that they make is FIRE! Donnell has so many stories to share with the world. He wants people to know what other people are going through, so they realize that they are not the only one’s going through some s**t! This is his passion, and you will feel it through the music!
