“TWP” is a jazz/funk party band that covers the great horn bands of the 60’s, 70’s thru today

Musical influences* Tower of Power, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, BS&T, Kenny G. Neville Bros. You get the idea.
Terry L. Walker- Lead Vocals/Percussion- Terry has been performing locally non-stop for over 30 years with many of the areas favorite bands. Until recently, Terry was the male lead vocalist with “Brotherhood”. His past bands include his own band “No Compromise and the Kamikaze Horns”, "A Taste of Sin" and “Discovery” to name a few. His “blue eyed” soulful vocal style and his high energy approach have made him a mainstay in the areas most popular R&B and Funk bands throughout the years. Terry only performs because he loves entertaining people and the music. His performing characteristics and attention to detail have put him in demand with many Niteclubs, Weddings, High Society and Corporate events. Terry has shared the stage with many artists such as, 3 Dog Night, Chuck Mangione, Hall & Oates, and John Mellencamp. Most notably, Terry was invited by the members of “Toto” to perform on stage during their Binghamton concert appearance.

Paul Knapik- Guitar/vocals- Paul can do it all. His high energy rhythm guitar work is surpassed only by his jaw-dropping leads. Paul's influences include Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix and Roy Buchanan (one of his teachers). He has studied in New York, Nashville and Washington, D.C.. Paul's trademark style is a wonderful blend of these influences (blues, R&B, funk, soul, Latin). Paul has been called upon on numerous occasions to add his virtuoso guitar mastery to various recording sessions in the New York area. In addition he has written and produced his own material in the studio, from conception to horn arrangements to final mixdown. The combination of Paul's passion, technical ability and playing experience (over 40 years!) creates musical expression that you will not soon forget and makes him a truly extraordinary musician, performer, and teacher (see below).Paul is a full time guitar teacher and owns "Paul Knapik's School of Guitar"

Joe Roma- Drums/Percussion- Joe is on the BCC music department faculty, teaches private drum and percussion lessons. He is the Principal Timpanist in the Tri-Cities Opera orchestra and the set drummer in the Miles Ahead Jazz Quartet. Joe has been performing for years in many of the areas top bands including Brotherhood and Mr. Clean. He has also accompanied many acclaimed artists such as, Dionne Warwick, Slam Stewart, and Houston Person. If you have gone to the Ice Capades or to the circus it is Joe who plays drums. His keen senses of rhythm and rock solid percussion patterns are crucial to the fundamental groove that drives TWP.

Tony Godoy- Trumpet/Vocals- Tony holds a B.M. in Trumpet Performance and an M.M. in Music Education from the Ithaca College School of Music. Originally a Vestal native, Tony began performing at a young age with many area ensembles. Tony joined the United States Air Force where he performed for four years with the USAF Band of Liberty Concert Band and the Ambassador’s Jazz. Tony has performed with Aretha Franklin, Jack Jones, Helen Reddy, Crystal Gale, The Lettermen, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Platters, The Four Aces, and others. He is currently a band director at Johnson City Middle School. Tony, is a member of the Mario Desantis Band (based out of Syracuse), and enjoys freelancing throughout New York State. His Trumpet screams the high notes and Tony can switch effortlessly to a soft melody that will soothe your soul.

Sal Crisafi- Keyboards and vocals is multi instrumentalist. A Keyboardist, Drummer, Guitarist since his early teens, Sal has played in Many rock and R&B groups and shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Spirit, Cheap trick and James Brown to name a few. In the early 1970’s Sal recorded with The regional group Smokestack LTD which played ‘The Concert for The Blood” at USMA at West Points Michie stadium, the only concert ever held in the football stadium. Sal has also played in the 70s,80’s 90’s in backup groups for The Shirelles, Drifters, Coasters ,Jackie Wilson Marvelettes and Haley's Comets. Sal also was keyboardist and recorded with the legendary Big Edsel Band. While touring with the Big Edsel band Sal fell in love with the area and decided to take up residence here. Since 1997 Sal is Keyboardist and Co-songwriter and Co- producer for Million selling sixties group The Human Beinz. Their Hit “ Nobody But Me” is featured in The Academy award winning film “The Departed” as well as “Kill Bill .The groups song McQ is featured in the documentary film ‘ “Steve McQueen : An American Rebel”. Most recently Sal as a member of The Human Beinz was featured along with his Compositions on the 2009 album “Christmas in America” on Collectible records. His high energy and smoking solos are infectious to keep people dancing.
