Texas Dream Team

The Texas Dream Team is a group of three artists who have come together to form an alliance in the world of underground hip hop.
This group is a mixture of hip hop fused with a R&B flavor.
The Texas Dream Team, the first ever Rap/R&B, down south trio consists of the R&B crooner, J Ash, a Houston native and two childhood friends from Hillsboro, Texas, Lucky Loc and Grip.
Two of the artists, Grip and J Ash, met while being a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
All three of these artists, bring their own swag to the team.
J Ash is described by many to be the silky smooth soulful voice over the deep lyrical content of both rappers Lucky Loc and Grip.
Lucky Loc is 1/3 of The Texas Dream Team in which his street vibe lyrics and versatility reflects in every track.
Grip is described to be the rapper with the hard hitting lyrical content with universal flow.
They have created the voice of “small town cities.” through their music.
These artists have various mixtapes and compilations such as: Lucky Loc’s Live from the Gutter Vol.1: Ride Music; J Ash’s Genesis; and Texas Best Kept Secret Vol.1 compilation album in which all three artists were featured. The first official album, Now or Never is scheduled to dropped in the second quarter of 2010. This album will showcase the versatility of the group and have the underground to mainstream feel.
While Texas is coming up in the game with their base throbbing and infectious hooks, The Texas Dream Team will definitely pave the way for underground artists whose music embodies the rich content of the underground hip hop culture.
