J Mann is a Pop, Electrica/Dance, Rap, and Hip-Hop recording artist from Texas Raised. He is 23 years old born and raised in Abilene, Texas. J Mann has an older brother, two older sisters and one younger sister. J Mann is not currently married but he does have one handsome son and a beautiful baby girl. His two children are his inspiration. They inspire him to be the best that he can be and to provide them with a better life. J Mann’s interest includes performing live and getting his crowd involved with him during his performances.

J Mann has two musical influences, which are Chamillionaire and Eminem. J Mann says that he just loves the way both Chamillionaire and Eminem perform, put on their shows, and the way they rap using their own style. A rap style that so far no music recording artist has been able to duplicate. For J Mann having the opportunity to work with either Chamillionaire or Eminem would be an honor and would mean everything to him knowing that dreams and opportunities could come true.

J Mann at the age of 16 years of age got into the music industry only because he wondered what he sounded like on the mic. J Mann does not play any instruments but he did train himself to do just about any style of rap. J Mann says the one thing that makes him different from other rappers in the music industry is he stays as real as can be. Everything he says is 99.9% real unlike a lot of the other rappers.

J Mann has not yet won any awards for his music however he is just getting starting in the music industry. J Mann founded Texas Raised with 3 other individuals but recently has all gone their own way. J Mann has released a total of three albums “Still On The Grind”, “Two Sides To Every Story” and his most recent album “My City”, which is his first solo album. J Mann has had two of his singles off of “My City” make the Top 40 in West Texas. “Lookout Weekend” is currently at number 13 and “Ice Cream” is currently at number 12. J Mann feels this is just the beginning of what he wants to accomplish. He hopes to accomplish getting nationally known for doing what he loves, which is making music for others to enjoy, to get far at anything that he puts his mind to and to make it far in the music industry regardless for his two children. J Mann is currently in the studio working on his fourth album that will be titled “The Takeover”.
