Texas Tea

Texas Tea

Texas Tea specializes in good old fashioned blues rock built on the foundation of a funky rhythm section. The addition of a keyboard and trombone allow Texas Tea to play a wider variety of music than many bands. No gimmicks, just great music.

Texas Tea originated as an acoustic trio in the spring of 2003 with a bucket full of covers and a keyboardist without a keyboard. Practicing in the Ann Arbor equivalent of a garage, the new revitalized Texas Tea began in the fall, dining on funk, and drinking from the bottle of rock and blues. In the short year since, they have graced the stage in venues such as The Blind Pig, The Heidelberg, and Zingerman's Roadhouse, as well as numerous charity events.

The Texas Tea EP is a collection of four original songs recorded in December 2003. All songs are available for download from www.texasteamusic.com. Hard copies are also available on request.
