The best kept secret in music
Press
I have been to Ann Arbor many, many times. But I never stopped in The Heidelberg. the bar is upstairs and it has a great studio apartment feel. And up on stage is Texas Tea. This is their first show after practicing only three weeks together. I would have never guessed. I walk in to them playing "Helpless," by Neil Young. They play mostly covers from Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Aeroplane" to James Taylor’s "Steam Roller Blues”. They are definitely capable of some greats.- Kristin Karpczuk, Jamrag

Bio
Texas Tea originated as an acoustic trio in the spring of 2003 with a bucket full of covers and a keyboardist without a keyboard. Practicing in the Ann Arbor equivalent of a garage, the new revitalized Texas Tea began in the fall, dining on funk, and drinking from the bottle of rock and blues. In the short year since, they have graced the stage in venues such as The Blind Pig, The Heidelberg, and Zingerman's Roadhouse, as well as numerous charity events.
