Bio

T. Fowler

Born and raised in Waco, Texas, T. Fowler (born Tristin Fowler) has planted new roots in Austin and brings a refreshing sound to the music scene. His distinct vocals and songwriting ability grab the attention of many influential ears in the music industry. He is already making a name for himself around the nation, collaborating with an array of artists and performing a countless number of shows.

Born to two heroin addicted parents, this young, talented artist sees his past of living in the projects and being a product of a broken home as his motivation to succeed. His past keeps him grounded as his career continues to soar far beyond his expectations. Battling the heartache of having a father who was incarcerated most of his adult life, T. Fowler relied on the support of his recovering addict mother for encouragement as he pursued his dream of being a successful musician.

Despite his hardships, T. Fowler was determined to not succumb to the temptations of his environment. Music was his release. Blessed to have the opportunity to participate in performing arts in school exposed him to a wide variety instruments, sounds, and genres of music. With a newfound appreciation for music, but limited resources, T. Fowler learned to use his voice as his instrument. Freestyle rapping became a staple in his everyday routine. After perfecting this craft, he realized documenting his flows could prove beneficial and began songwriting, which he quickly deemed his passion. It allowed him to express the good and bad times he had experienced in life.

Determined to leave the bad times and start anew, T. Fowler relocated to Austin to seriously pursue his musical career. He knew “Waco had no room for him to grow,” encouraging words from his father who was back in Waco, yet facing his last days with terminal cancer.

Since establishing life in Austin, T. Fowler has seen many doors open and opportunities arise. He now calls Austin home and is buzzing in the industry as the next big thing for the Live Music Capital of the World!
