Rocking Like Savants EP ©2006
The Gentlemens Club debut album entitled Rocking Like Savants is a unique array of different musical influences from each of the band members personal preferences. Corey and Johns love for funk music helped to create a backbone and common ground for the albums over all sound. Chris The Torch Zwarychs interest in progressive rock music aided the band in establishing a high-energy drive in songs such as Seaside Party and Sick and Tired. Joe Kents unique ability to fuse his signature style of bass playing with John and Coreys original vision, has added depth and character to the bands rhythm section. Putting on the final touches to the album may have proved to be a challenge if not for the mixing and producing expertise of lead guitarist Stuart Alan. In working with John, the duo was able to bring forth an original sound for the album. The progression of the songs takes the listener on an emotional journey through the sweetness of success to the pitfalls of self destruction. Rocking Like Savants is an album for people who search for beauty that is more than what meets the eye.
