ZONE

Zone was born in uptown Washington, Dc at Howard University Hospital. From there him and his family stationed themselves in the Northeast region of the city. At the age of 3 his dad parted his own way and left Zone and his mother to fend for themselves. The two of them hopped all around the city from uptown to the south side of the city. Eventually at 12 years of age they moved to Landover, Md which is right across the border of Dc and Maryland. Zone adopted to his surroundings and started to get into some things due to his situation, doing things for his needs and wants that his mom couldn’t provide. As he faced trials and tribulations in the hood overall, from DC to Maryland he attended three different schools. Two elementary schools and Fairmont Heights High School. During his elementary days Zone found his talent, in a talent show in 6th grade, he got on stage started to freestyle and all of his peers loved it and would sing it along with him everyday after school. From then on Zone would just battle and freestyle for fun or on the corner as he hung out. At 16 yrs of age, he finally became serious and started his career, developed his own gang it started out as but over time developed into “Ova Tyme Militia”, a music group. Years later, around the age 18, some of the group members went separate ways except Chrisodd (rapper) and Zone himself. Now Zone focuses on his solo career but still does projects as a group with his partner. At this point Zone believes he have what it takes to make it, and now he is just waiting his turn for a shot at stardom.
