NINO BROWN

Nino Brown was born and raised in South Side Fort Worth, Tx. He grew up in a single-parent home with his Father. He started running in the streets starting at the early age of 12 years old, after doing a few months in juvenile for a gun crime he committed against his Mother's boyfriend (at age 11). After completing his probation, Nino got into sports activities in school, but soon found himself unable to play because his grades wouldn't allow him to. He then turned to music. Freestyling about everyday life events that he participated in, and at age 15, he met up with a rising latino rapper from Houston, Tx. Nino began to show more interest in music and began communicating, and befriended, the artist in Houston. Things got slow with music and so he returned to the streets and lived a life of crime and violence, which, by the age of 17, led him into the courtroom once again. He was convicted and sentenced to 8 years, in 2001, in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDC/TX.Prison System). From the age of 18 until he was 26, he was incarcerated in prison. After returning home in 2009, Nino once again connected up with old friends in the music business, and was asked if he was going to get involved in music again. At first, Nino declined, but after requests and inquiries regarding music, Nino decided to give it another shot. In 2011 Nino began writing for his first album. In July of 2012 he came out with "Back against Tha' Wall", his debut. It was well recieved in the streets and has even sold on the internet and has gotten Radio play over seas. Nino eventually went back to prison for a term of 4 years, which he only served 2 years of. He is currently on parole and is writing and recording for his second album titled: 3rd Chance. Nino is now 33 yrs.old, and feels that this album will get him the break he has been waiting for. He definitely has his own sound and unique style. He most definitely will attain success in the music industry.
