Bio

T-Haddy was born Thor Haddon on May 28, 1980 in Atlanta’s Grady Hospital. After moving to Detroit, Michigan, he began writing music at the age of 5. His family was soon taking part in the growth of the now world-renowned “Unity Cathedral of Faith” under the leadership of Bishop Clarence B. Haddon. In 1990, Thor returned to Atlanta and continued his development as an artist, becoming a virtuoso on the keyboard. At 11 years old, he was already an instrumentalist in his mother’s church ministry, “Deliverance of Faith” and four years later, he was writing and directing for the church’s youth choir. By the year 2000, T-Haddy was in the studio working as an engineer, and in 2001 wrote and produced his first album, “The Drawing” with his gospel group “Outcome”. “Outcome” subsequently performed for churches and youth affiliates all over the state of Georgia.

In 2003, T-Haddy began work on his solo debut album entitled, “The Great Repentance”, which received rave reviews all across the U.S. By the fall of ‘04, he released the Mix tape “Hood Gospel V1”, and began a promotional campaign in Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, and South Carolina. After personally sowing about 5,000 copies of his CDs at shows and various radio appearances around the country, T-Haddy’s popularity began to blossom. Then in 2005, just as the incredible “buzz” surrounding his music began to spread and reach its peak, God called him away from his rapidly growing career to focus only on full time church ministry. Faithful to the call, T-Haddy operated as the Minister of Music and Youth Minister at Spirit Led International Church for the next two and a half years. Then in the spring of 2008, T-Haddy headed back to the studio to begin working on his highly-anticipated 2nd Album aptly named, “Motivation Music”.
