October 19, 2011, Atlanta, GA- The Rising Star Group presents to you a Rap group of intelligent and talented artists collectively known as "Tha FOE Headed Monsta" Let's say you combine the lyricism of southern rap groups like UGK, Outkast, Goodie Mobb, The Ghetto Boys, and NWA then you definitely would come up with Tha FOE Headed Monsta. This group combines the soul of those groups and channels it into a sound that can give you the goosebumps when you hear it. This group hails out of the Poverty stricken Shreveport suburb of Minden, Louisiana, mostly known for its reputation as a Southern Hollywood with several films like Welcome Home Rascoe Jenkins and The Longshots. "The FOE Headed Monsta" consists of group members “F.B.” (Trey Ferrell), "Luk-O" (Lucas Owens), "C.C." (Cary Stevens) and "Dat Boi Hill" (DeCarro Hill).
The group will be releasing their first album entitled "Ark-La-Tex" which will be released summer 2012. Their current single, "Self Esteem" has a special message which addresses Self-Empowerment." Their style of music is unique. It’s amazing how even with this being their first album – their sound and content is very different compared to anything out there.
