Bio
Thanos Retsos was born in Greece, Athens, March 10th, 1988. He got his first guitar at the age of ten . As a young kid, Thanos listened mainly to Metallica, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, Rage Against The Machine and Limp Bizkit. He had one teacher specializing in rock, blues, and jazz . Thanos formed a lot of bands in high school and also played with the school band, but he wanted always something more . He graduated audio engineering, film scoring and sound desing at AKMI college. He created his own band called Definite-x at the age of 17 . Definite-x was a big chapter in his life . They won one of the biggest competitions in Greece for young musicians called Schoolwave in 2007. They played lots of shows around Greece and they released their EP named Definite-x and they also played at Ardas festival . After Ardas festival a band named Fly by wire asked Thanos to join their band for helping them in composition . He left the band after he finished the recording sessions for their album . Also in 2011 Thanos wrote music for two sort film competitions ( Microsoft Sort film and Kaspersky sort film ), both of these films won a place in the 20 best sort films worldwide . Now, Thanos continues writing his own music and searching for a university in the US for extending his studies .
