After moving from Atlanta to Nashville, Tammy's love of 80's music became common knowledge (and an occasional punch line) among musical peers. Cathey Stamps, infamous percussionist, finally dared her to do something about it. They enlisted two other buddies, also transplants from Atl to Nashville. Thus was born "That 80's Band."
Crowds responded immediately. They screamed and shook their groove thing to songs like Blister in the Sun, Love Shack, Tainted Love, and Kiss. The crowds loved these tunes, and they were no longer ashamed to say so!
The musicianship, vocal talent and acoustic touch to 80's classics are what set this band apart. Well, that and the ADD-anything-goes onstage attitude. Plus weird medley's.
All four band members are succesful singers, songwriters, studio musicians, producers and performers in their own rights. They got together as That 80's Band just for fun - and it shows.
