That Band

That Band came into being during the fall of 2014.  The 18-piece ensemble had dinner together at its first major gig a few months later where we served up tunes that ranged from funk, to contemporary pop hits, to standard swing band charts, and to original arrangements of recognizable classics.

That Band's varied repertoire and energetic showmanship allows the ensemble to play at a variety of private, community and business functions.  For example, recent appearances have included: The Ontario Blue Jays Hall of Fame Induction Gala (2015 & 2016); The Burlington Sound of Music Festival (2015); Dancescape's Social Dance Club "Big Band Ballroom Bash Series" (April 2016, July 2016, November 2016, April 2017, July 2017, November 2017); the Royal Ontario Legion's Luncheon for Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Residence (2016); the Emerald Lake Resort (2016); and various private functions (such as 50th Wedding Anniversaries); family reunions and community events.

That Band’s caliber of music is excellent, as is the infectious energy from this group when they come together to play.
