That Girl Band is a phoenix that arose from the ashes of many other girl bands of the Quad Cities. Kara Gordon comes from such larger name acts as "Bruce Ave" who opened for Vixen and Cheap Trick, and "Mad Charlotte", & "Clean Slate". Jenny Dixon holds down the low end for 3 Quad Cities bands, "Free Weed", and "Finding Frank Wilson", and TGB, and Laurie is the new girl coming from Chicago from such bands as " Brave 'n Crazy" and "Twistyr". Kara and Jenny got together in "Dottie's Wine", which became "Evil Twin" and now finally with the addition of Laurie, "That Girl Band". We are currently the ONLY all girl band in the Quad cities area. and one of the only 3 piece acts to boot.
