That's What She Sang is made up of two music teachers and a beach town girl with a rocking voice! After a few casual jam sessions produced some fun arrangements of old standards and mash-ups of more current material, they decided to make it official, and come up with a name.
The name That's What She Sang is a tribute to Steve Carrell of The Office and his classic, "That's what she said" jokes.
While they're instrumentation is entirely acoustic, a typical TWSS show includes A LOT of dancing! And for those in the audience that prefer to sit and listen, TWSS almost never performs straight covers. Their mash-ups and three part harmonies give audience members that want to sit back and listen something to really sink their teeth into!
