It seems the well of creation in the so-called J-Rock scene is drying out, and thatta is no longer interested in the framework once constructed by predecessors and contemporaries of the scene.
Making the most of Japan’s musical environment, thatta’s sound runs freely across music from the U.K. and the U.S. by the likes of madchester and 90’s U.S. alternative. Thus, thatta is a Japanese band that transcends the idioms of the Japanese scene.
They are the answer.
Music derived from various genres and the three synthesizers on stage being their trademark, thatta is known for their fearless and frenetic live performances, mainly playing in the Tokyo area.
