Still working on that hot first release.

Feeling a bit camera shy

There is a new band that has been taking the SJ music scene by surprise - The Age of Ore. Not only are they amazing musicians that play a range of heavy metal and rock covers, but most remarkably, they are between the ages of 10-15! They are young…but they will literally blow your mind! Having been together for less than a year, the band has an impressive resume:

  • They were crowned the 2017 For the Record Summer Battle of the Bands winner
  • Along with many other gigs, they have played as the featured artist at Time Out Entertainment, Rack’s in Atco and Connie’s Ric Rac
  • They were part of the Rising Young Stars of NJ showcase and the Battle of the Bands sponsored by Emerge Artists and Sunset Entertainment
  • They had a feature article published in the South Jersey Scene column of Out on the Town and were interviewed on 2 Chicks and a Chef Radio Show on WSNJ
  • Finally, thanks to the kindness of a few amazing and generous souls, they went into the studio and recorded their first song and music video

Experiencing such kindness from those that have helped them out this past year has made them realize how important it is to give back. With a focus on helping others, they have:

  • Headlined at a charity event to benefit Under the Radar, a fundraiser at Clancy’s to benefit Anita Bano, and a scholarship benefit at AJs in Pennsville
  • Played a headline spot aboard the Battleship NJ at the Rock the Boat Music festival that benefitted the Sarah James Music Foundation
  • Recently started their own charitable music program called Take the Stage, whose mission is to get kids out of their bedrooms and get them playing together, providing them the opportunity to perform and have the experience of playing in a band
