Bio
The Avulsions are a rock band from Saskatoon, SK, Canada. Their tightly-wound art rock is constructed from isolation and paranoia. Their songs convey an urgency inherited from the demise of punk-rock and its call to action. However, rather than be constrained by nostalgia, the band experiments with traditional instrumentation, electronics, production, and structure. In late 2015, the band began documenting their efforts at their home studio in Saskatoon, allowing them to carefully execute their vision on record. Their self-titled debut is due out fall 2017 on Flemish Eye records.
