Bio
Originating from Townsville, The Bear Hunt relocated to Brisbane to share their callous, social loathing yet infectious tunes. The Bear Hunt have shared the stage with Lanie Lane, The Medics, The Broken Needles, Steve Towsend, Kate Martin, Joseph Liddy (ex Middle East), The Ppli Kids, and Lopaka.
The bands first EP Cant Save You evolved from the physical and social isolation of North Queensland and the plain sweaty, horrible humidity that plagued the kids growing up in the area with a love of 90's garage rock and psychedelia. They credit their influences to the likes of PJ Harvey, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Dinosaur Jr., & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
