The Big Trouble is a percussion / songwriting collective featuring award winning composers Ivan Trevino, Andrew Worden, and singer-songwriter, Madeleine McQueen.
The Big Trouble creates percussion + vox + rock music, showcasing percussion instruments with vocals in an indie-rock setting. The group released their debut album in 2017, accompanied by two politically charged music videos for "Red White Blue Orange" and "Echo Chamber", produced in conjunction with Four/Ten Media.
Members of The Big Trouble have been commissioned by major artists and institutions like Michael Burritt, Escape Ten and Eastman School of Music, and most recently gained recognition through their social media composing project, bringing transparency and openness to their songwriting process.
With one foot in Boston, MA and the other in Austin, TX, the group is currently booking concerts and residencies nationwide for its 2019-2020 seasons.
The Big Trouble performs with Zildjian Cymbals and Evans Drumheads and is made possible in part by a generous grant from The Boston Foundation.
