When you think of a blemish, you think of a scuffed piece of furniture? What about a pimple on your perfect complexion? Overall, the vision of blemishes isn’t all that great. What if I told you, there are good blemishes out in the world? Better yet, a GREAT sounding blemish! Out of LA comes The Blemish; a sonic collision between singer-songwriter-producers Bo Haan and Emin Karimi, bound to bring life to your ear drums with their latest single ‘Gorgeous.’
Classic, smooth electronica has not been done like this in a long time. We all know what it’s like when all you can hear is the beat and no actual lyrics in the song. You don’t have to worry about that. The boys of The Blemish have relied on a very gentle, yet, upbeat synth melody to drive the track in lieu of a heavy bass beat. Without the aggressiveness, you get to hear the whole vocal power of Bo Haan… not many guys who can produce their own music have a pleasant voice. (we’re not naming names.) But, Bo’s voice is GORGEOUS! It feels like a 1990’s throwback. There was care taken to hear every element of the song. From the melody to the lyrics, you’re instantly thrown into a lively mood where there is nothing in the world that can stop you from tearing up the dance floor.

The Blemish is the result of a sonic collision between singer-songwriter-producers Bo Haan and Emin Karimi. The duo creates lyrics that explore the unspoken underbelly of love set to relentless, pounding waves of smooth electronica.
Individually, each member of The Blemish is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and producer. Karimi is a child prodigy who has been working as a professional composer and producer in the studio since the tender age of ten (yes, for real clients and real money) - while Bo Haan is a lawyer-turned musician who has been gaining critical recognition and a steadily growing fan base since the release of his freshman cover album Funkified.
