The Cause & Knowledge is an East Coast collaborative Hip Hop group, comprised of two visionary artists who give listeners a unique experience that is uncommonly found in the music world to date. They not only convey sounds that capture the ear but provide visuals that stimulate the mind. Their approach to Hip Hop is different in the way that their lyrics are timeless, revered, and relatable to any person, no matter the situation. They use their words to open peoples perceptions on life, bringing them to this higher level of consciousness and what they often refer to as “New Jupiter”.

New Jupiter spokesmen The Cause & Knowledge release their first visual "Carnival Nightmares" directed by DoloFilmz, off their highly acclaimed debut album "Discovery" which is available on iTunes & more.

The Cause & Knowledge is an East Coast collaborative Hip Hop group, comprised of two visionary artists who give listeners a unique experience that is uncommonly found in the music world to date. They not only convey sounds that capture the ear but provide visuals that stimulate the mind. Their approach to Hip Hop is different in the way that their lyrics are timeless, revered, and relatable to any person, no matter the situation. They use their words to open peoples perceptions on life, bringing them to this higher level of consciousness and what they often refer to as “New Jupiter”.

Reigning from the state of New Jersey, the duo first collaborated as solo artists in 2010 with their hit “I Used to Dream”, after their success on YouTube, the two decided they had much to offer to each other and the world around them and so became The Cause & Knowledge. They released their first official project as a group in the fall of 2011 titled Jersey Shore EP. After touring the north east they decided to continue working together using what they had learned from their experiences, creating their first critically acclaimed independent album Discovery. The first single off the album, “Carnival Nightmares” was released on Halloween of 2013. With overwhelming success and support of their fans they released the long awaited Discovery 12 days later.

They have set an impressive footprint in the underground scene opening for notable artists such as Iron Solomon, Tame One, Nitty Scott MC, Ras Kass, Copywrite, El Da Sensei, and Jeru the Damaja, while also accompanying famed West Coast artist Phora on tour. No strangers to collaborations, they have worked with legendary artists and producers such as Dungeon Family wordsmith, Big Rube (ATLiens, Aquemini, ATL), and Mr. Green. Filling out venues in their home state of New Jersey they gained opportunities to take their music elsewhere including stops in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Their music has also been played on radio stations such as Sirius XM Hip Hop Nation and Streetz 106.5, among many others.

The exposure The Cause & Knowledge have gained in recent years has been exponential and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon, they continue to reside in New Jersey where they are working on more visuals for their current album Discovery, along with new music to be released in the months coming. Jersey’s own, & self proclaimed spokesmen for New Jupiter, The Cause & Knowledge, also known as the Two Calm Kings have just released the visuals to “Carnival Nightmares” which was previously featured on #HiddenU. not too long ago. TCK receieved a lot of good feedback and reviews on the song and it helped them to generate a buzz anticipating the release of the video. The visuals for “Carnival Nightmares” was directed by DoloFilmz and is also featured on their highly anticipated debut album, “Discovery” which is now available on iTunes as well as many other music platforms.
