The Darkhearts take their songwriting cues from Thelonius Monk quotes, books of voodoo and news of the weird. They perform dynamic original songs about odd things. Copper thieves, invaders from space, Stella Maris, failure of luck, maniacs, and bad voltage are all addressed. This band of seasoned songwriting fanatics is dedicated to a collaborative mindset.

Discography

The Thirteens concieved, wrote, and recorded a love song, "Don't Ask Me Why", which was included on the Tokyo Rose Records compilation, "The Kids Are Goin'" The compilation includes other Cincinnati bands doing an original song of love.
The Thirteens have recorded and are currently mixing their first cd. It will be on local Cincinnati indie, Tokyo Rose Records in 2006.

Set List

Our set lists are usually tweaked to the venue just a bit. A set list for us averages 13(!!) or so songs and runs 30 to 45 minutes.
