The Fallow Years is not just a band; we're a tight-knit family of friends united by our love for crafting and performing music. Since 2017, we've been sharing our musical journey with audiences across Central Alberta, captivating listeners with our heartfelt lyrics, infectious melodies, and energetic performances.

Born from a shared passion for music and a desire to create something meaningful, The Fallow Years has become a mainstay in the central Alberta music scene, winning over fans with our authentic sound and genuine camaraderie on stage. Despite juggling our roles as educators during the day, music remains our passion, driving us to pursue our creative ambitions whenever and wherever we can.

Our journey as musicians has been a labor of love, marked by countless late-night jam sessions, road trips to gigs, recording retreats, and shared moments of triumph and growth. 

Currently, we're in the midst of an exciting chapter as we work on recording various EPs that showcase the depth and diversity of our musical talents. From the introspective reflections of "Winter" to the vibrant optimism of "Summer," each EP reflects a different facet of our creative journey, inviting listeners to join us on a sonic exploration of life's highs and lows.
