So far in 2018 The Fontaines have sold out The Troubadour, announced an official appearance at both the SXSW Music Festival and the spring High School Nation tour, and released a series of singles to acclaim from publications like LA Weekly and radio stations including KROQ 106.7 FM.

The Fontaines are a new wave rock band based in Los Angeles, California.  Charlotte Fontaine (vocals) and Hank Fontaine (guitar) began writing songs in 2014.  The siblings are joined by Chrystian Kaplan (drums) and Daniel Zuker (bass).

In February of 2017, The Fontaines released new single "Evaporate," which has been streamed hundreds of thousands of times and has has received airplay on commercial and satellite radio.  The band then followed up this release with a debut appearance at the SXSW Music Festival and a series of other single releases.  August 2017 brought the band to legendary venue The Troubadour for a sold-out headlining performance in celebration of their new EP "Playgirls."

So far 2018 has brought The Fontaines a second sold-out show at The Troubadour, an upcoming appearance at SXSW and on the spring High School Nation tour.  On January 11, Stryker made single "Playboys" his 4:20 pick of the day on KROQ 106.7 FM.

Over the course of 2018 The Fontaines are releasing a series of new singles and EPs and touring the US - all without any outside assistance from a label or booking agent.
