The debut album from The High Sultans 'Notes from a Separate Place' was released on 19th February 2021.
The first single from the album 'Love Sick' will be released on 19th March 2021.

Bio
The High Sultans are predominantly Mark Rochell and Paul Jones.
They messed around in bands when they were kids but eventually, as is so often the case, life got in the way. Fast forward 2 decades and suddenly they had the urge to dust off the guitars and see if they could come up with some songs. Immediately it was like a tap had been opened and twenty years of songs came flooding out. The only problem was that Jonesy still lived in the Midlands, whilst Roch was living down on the Isle of Wight, and on top of that there was a world-wide pandemic going on!
Thankfully with the use of Logic Pro and email, they managed to record songs whilst never actually being in the same room. With the help of Roch's wife, Hannah on bass, and old school/band mate Gavin Powers on additional guitar for a few songs, they eventually had enough songs for an album.
The result is 'Notes from a Separate Place' (a title that accurately reflects the writing process!).
Creating this album from scratch has not only been great fun but also a vital creative outlet during these lockdown times. If others get to hear the results and enjoy the songs then that is absolutely incredible.
