Bio
In 2012, Bram Canniere and Nick Symoens accidently met in an elevator in the university town of Leuven, Belgium. They initially started off jamming in a basement and three years later, having gained experience in different bands, they decided to join forces as ‘The Hipster Jugend’.
In the first episode of this new project, called ‘In Human’, they explored the world of melancholic electro-pop. Minimalistic at times, but regularly enriched with more bombastic melodies, they embraced life in its diversity. To bring the 'interhuman' factor to life, ‘The Hipster Jugend’ regularly invites a guest vocalist live on stage, which makes every performance a new experience.
After appearances at different Belgian gigs and venues throughout 2015, ‘The Hipster Jugend’ will take ‘In Human’ on tour in Australia in August 2016, performing in Sydney, Melbourne and towns and cities throughout New South Wales.
