The Hookys refer to Seattle as their home base but the band calls the Pacific Northwest their home. A collective of six individuals from Oregon and Washington, each one brings a unique perspective and style to the intriguing sound of The Hookys. Pulling on a range of influences from Slightly Stoopid to the The Wailers, The Black Keys to Sublime and Jimi Hendrix to Lupe Fiasco - The Hook Show is a melting pot of sound. The groups upbeat, lively mash of reggae, hip-hop, rock and soul brings something everyone can vibe to. The most important influences The Hookys have however, are their fans. Affectionately known as Hooky-Nation, their continuous support over the past two years is what keeps The Hookys working towards bigger shows, touring and a second EP - due sometime 2014. Dont let life pass you by without doing what you love to do - PLAY HOOKY.Lifes too short not to play hooky.
