The House Call

The House Call is a band of brothers from Southern Ontario. They are not siblings but they have a  history and a love that is as deep as any bloodline. This brotherhood formed as a cover band under the name of Acoustica in 2011 and adopted the alias of The House Call when their focus shifted to original music in 2015.

Steve Marinucci (a.k.a. Nooch) and David Wells were already in a successful gigging band, but there was no live bass or drums and they desired something more. Nooch and Steve Grimes were introduced to each other by David and Vaughn Lal while at a Soundgarden concert in 2010. Grimes and Nooch immediately formed a connection over their passion for guitar. Vaughn, David and Grimes started their friendship many years prior and were briefly in a band together in 1997. That same band, in a much early incarnation without David and Grimes, also featured Bobby Kelly. This brotherhood is more than a bloodline!

The House Call put out their first studio EP, Into The Garden, last year in CD format. In September of 2016 they made their first EP available on all digital platforms. They are currently finishing their first professionally produced/recorded/mixed EP with Brian Moncarz (Bleeker, Secret Broadcast, Our Lady Peace, The Trews). They are setting up shows for spring 2017 and building a team to help them spread the love.
