The Jolly Pops is a collective of fathers who play original music for kids. The group was founded by former touring rock musician and working songwriter Billy Hartong. Billy has been working as a music teacher in the Brooklyn area at the Park Slope Schoolhouse a preschool for 1-3 year olds. Since releasing the Jolly Pops debut CD "I Didn't Do It" in 2014, Billy and his friends have begun to immerse themselves in the vast children's music scene of Brooklyn, NY.
The group is available for birthday parties and special events. The age range is 1-8 years old and the performance will be tailored to the age of the children to be present. The price is very reasonable and the show will be fun, educational and always Jolly. Inquire within or through our main website.
With songs targeted towards specific kid's themes such as popsicles, alligators and trains the group is also hoping to license their upbeat and melodic songs to advertisers and artists.
