Bio
The Juice is five northern lads, dishing out scally rock with a sweet pop sheen.
Originally a duo, Preston brothers Jack & Joe recorded the first two singles (Rip It Up & At Times) and shortly received airplay from BBC Introducing Lancashire. The lads quickly realised that to do the songs justice live, and to get the sound the new songs deserve, they needed recruits.
Up stepped Louis (Lead Guitar), Ross (Bass), and Joe (Drums), making the duo a Manchester based 5-piece. Bringing their own influences of Ska, Punk, Rock and Hip-Hop, the lads have had a massive impact on the sound of the band.
Although initially inspired by The Beatles, Britpop and the many other great bands of North West England, the lads are finding their own space with the influences each member brings to the table.
In the short space of a few months, The Juice have shared stages with the likes of Glass Caves, Sugarstone, Callow Youth and Chris Helme (The Seahorses), and are looking forward to ThisFeeling shows with bands such as Cavalcade when live music returns.
On New Year's Day, The Juice are delighted to release their latest single 'Tell Me Tina', the band's first output as a 5 piece. A statement of intent for 2021, it marks the first writing collaboration between brothers Joe (Lead Singer) and Jack (Principal Songwriter/Rhythm Guitarist). An honest account of the end of a relationship, Tell Me Tina is a song that gets in your head and stays.
